The Isle of Wight’s only Office Outlet store looks set to close just 18 months after opening.
The former Staples premises at Coppins Bridge is displaying ‘everything must go’ signs and a closing down sale is underway.
Sources say that Office Outlet may be relocating to a smaller location on the Island, but this remains unconfirmed at this moment in time.
It’s thought that with Maplin now closed the complex could be turned into a larger leisure space to accompany Cineworld and Pizza Hut.
Staples opened at the Cineworld complex back in June 2000. When Office Outlet closes it will be the first time the unit has come to the market in almost 20 years.
Island Echo contacted the company on Wednesday morning but are yet to receive a response.
