Wannabe ‘Egg Heads,’ ‘Pointless’ pundits and pub quiz prodigies across the Island will not want to miss the ultimate Charity Entertainment Quiz, which is being held at Newclose Cricket Club in Newport on Friday 5th May.
Compiled and hosted by the Island’s very own ‘Mr Entertainment’, Vic Farrow, Manager of Shanklin Theatre, this is the quiz to test the knowledge of film buffs, music maestros, TV addicts and theatre goers everywhere. All proceeds will go to Breathe Easy, the charity that works on behalf of those with acute and chronic lung conditions.
If you know the difference between George Clooney and Rosemary Clooney, Elvis Presley and Reg Presley and Robbie Williams and Kenneth Williams, then this is the quiz for you.
Tickets are just £10 per person and must be purchased in advance from the organiser, Mrs Pat Stratton on 01983 402537 or [email protected]. The tickets include both the quiz and a Ploughman’s Supper. There is a maximum of 4 people per team.
There will also be a Breathe Easy Charity Raffle to be held on the night. Numerous Island businesses and attractions have generously contributed a host of wonderful prizes to be won on the evening.
Tickets for this unique event are strictly limited and early booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
