An aspiring young Islander has entered the world of business by opening her own beauty salon at the historic Rectory Mansion in Brading.
Amber Matthews, 18, opened ‘The Beauty Loft’ in October last year following several years of experience in the industry and having gained the latest qualifications.
Passionate about the industry and providing a relaxing, peaceful and welcoming experience, Amber decided to transform part of the thatched Rectory Mansion into a modern, comfortable space for clients to enjoy a variety of affordable beauty and wellbeing treatments.
Establishing the only beauty treatment business for miles around has been a rewarding move for Amber, who has received nothing but 5-star reviews. The unique setting of Brading has proven to be ideal and Amber loves the area so much she has moved to the town to be closer to the tight-knit community.
The budding entrepreneur is now gearing up to extend her opening hours and days as the business continues to go from strength to strength.
Speaking about her decision to go it alone, Amber has said:
“It has been a fantastic journey so far, having the opportunity to meet lots of new clients and becoming part of the Rectory Mansion family.
“Following the success of the past few months, I am very much looking forward to expanding my business in 2018 and look forward to meeting Brading residents and those from further afield”.
