Tanya Outen, an artist from East Cowes, is set to launch her inaugural exhibition in Newport next month entitled “Road to Chiarezza”.
Chiarezza is Italian for “Clarity” and the exhibition is her collection of artistic exploration resulting from a Leukaemia diagnosis in 2006. Tanya discovered a passion for art as a way to relax, tell her story in a creative way and to express the emotions she experienced during her nine year journey since diagnosis to the present day.
The exhibition is being held at The Big Wight Space above The New Rembrandt Gallery, 15 Scarrots Lane, Newport and will run from 3rd August to 15th August. Opening times are 09:00 – 17:00 with an Exhibition Preview Evening on Monday 3rd August 17:30 – 19:30 by invitation only.
