Islanders are being invited to experience an amazing adrenaline rush by descending 100m down the side of Portsmouth’s iconic landmark, the Spinnaker Tower, in aid of Age UK Isle of Wight.
This June, Age UK Isle of Wight are offering you unmissable views across Portsmouth harbour, the Solent and the Isle of Wight.
Age UK Isle of Wight are looking for adventurous fundraisers to take on this adrenaline-filled challenge to Abseil down the Emirates Spinnaker tower is on Saturday 3rd June 2023.
A spokesperson for the local charity has said:
“We have teamed up with Hovertravel to support brave fundraisers who want to take on this incredible challenge whilst helping out a great local charity!
“Age UK Isle of Wight is an independent charity and 100% of all fundraising support we receive stays on the Island to support older Islanders to love later life”.
Interested fundraisers can secure their place with a £50 payment, plus commit to raising a minimum sponsorship of £250 for Age UKIW and will receive a Go Pro video of their descent and a medal of completion.
