Isle of Wight Cowes Man v Fat beat Odiham Man v Fat on the road in Southern League Division 3.
The game started very end to end but after 10 minutes, the play is started to favour Cowes, who repeatedly created chances.
Cowes’ Jack leggett won the ball in midfield after winning a 50/50, he then played a quick one two with Nathan Rowe before dispatching the ball into the bottom left corner, a great start for the debutant (0-1).
After some good Odiham possession down the right wing, Cowes regained the ball to then quickly counter, with Brandon Epps, who drove the ball out of his half and into space, playing Rowe down the wing to cut across to his right and slot one in the bottom right corner (0-2).
Cowes were dominating the game over a frustrated Odiham, and a long ball from throw in was brought down for Ray Richardson, who chested the ball under control to then slot into the bottom right corner (0-3).
Towards the end of the 1st half, Rowe collected the ball at the edge of the box and tried to drill one at the goal which deflected into the path of Mike Cox, who smashed it into the top right corner (0-4)

The 2nd half was a cagey affair, with lots of opportunities wasted by both teams, including Cowes’ Richardson, who was released down the left and cut the ball across the box for a tap in by Rowe into a vacant Odiham goal, only for Rowe to let it go.
With the game now end to end, Cowes Stuart Reed put on a superb goalkeeper display, but tired legs started to kick in and in the last 10 minutes of the game, Cowes conceded when Odiham’s Patrick Kinsella had a shot rebounded for Steve Jones to finish (1-4).
Cowes saw the game out with a great performance and now go level on points with Odiham with a game in hand.
