The Cowes Christmas Fair – organised by sisters Fiona Steel and Angie Pay – returns to Cowes Yacht Haven this weekend (Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th November).
The marina’s large events centre will play host to over 65 stalls filled with quality gifts and crafts. Over two days Islanders and visitors will once again have the opportunity to shop early and buy all of their Christmas presents under one roof.
The fair will be a great day out for all the family, with entertainment throughout the day and large variety of refreshments to keep busy shoppers well fuelled.
Fares available from talented local crafters, producers and small Island businesses include local artists Maria Ward, Maureen Collins and Ruth Herbert, Russell Ince author of ‘Santa Claus: The Book of Secrets’ with his new book, photographer Stuart Shore, and a fabulous range of stalls selling hand crafted jewellery, cards, gifts and sweets.
Entry is free to the Cowes Christmas Fair, which is open on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 to 16:30.
Ian Gregory, events manager at Cowes Yacht Haven, said:
“The Cowes Christmas Fair attracts thousands of people every year and is always full of festive treats. It’s a fantastic place to get your Christmas shopping started and maybe even pick up something unique for your own home.
“It also shows off how flexible our events space is – from weddings to craft fairs to regatta prize giving ceremonies, we are able to transform the specially for every customer. We’re in a great location for the Christmas Fair, in the centre of the High Street and right next to the Red Funnel terminal, so visitors won’t have far to go to get the festive feeling.”
