This year’s Royal Isle of Wight County Show was once again a huge success with thousands of visitors enjoying the sunshine at Northwood.
There was something for everyone at Sunday’s country living event, including livestock displays and auctions, vintage vehicles, horticulture and woodland activities plus a whole variety of local produce available to purchase in the food marquee.
Fun and games were had both inside and outside the main arena and there was plenty of trade stands to explore. Premier Ford were offering a 4×4 offroad experience and visitors could get their hand in with Clay Pigeon Shooting.
The ever-growing farming community came together celebrating country life on the garden Isle and introducing an alternative way of life to those exploring the comprehensive show for the first time.
The highlight of the day was the double appearance from the Household Cavalry with crowds 6 people deep at times as everyone gathered around to catch a glimpse of the pomp and ceremony display.
