The Friends of Binstead Primary School are busy this festive season as they prepare for their first Community Bingo night, which is to be held on Saturday 14th December.
The Parent Teacher Association has said:
“We are fortunate to have great support from both the school, its families and the community here at Binstead. We wanted to host an event with an open invitation to all, which is why we chose to host the family friendly evening at Binstead Community Centre.
“Thanks to last years fundraising, we were able to contribute to mainland school trips, purchase a new outside sheltered play shed, buy books as well as ongoing classroom resources. Plans for next year include a new wooden outside play area & stage.
“We have already started to collect prizes not only for the Bingo but also a raffle on the night. There will be a cash prize for the final game for those to first shout Bingo on a line or full house.”
Local business owner and Binstead parent Luke Freer from Rollin Pizzas will be serving up some mouth warming slices on the night, and the club bar will be open.
Friends of Binstead Primary School add:
“It’s going to be a great night, and we hope to welcome as many people as we can whilst making as much money as we can.
“If you have a local business and would like to be involved, we would love to hear from you.
“We strongly advise booking your table to avoid disappointment. This can be done by emailing [email protected].”
The Bingo Night will be held on Saturday 14th December with a 19:00 start.
