HM Coastguard are reminding Islanders about the dangers that are posed by the cliffs around our coast following a cliff fall at Yaverland earlier this week.
Several hundred tonnes of rock crashed down onto the beach at the area known as Redcliff sometime between Sunday and Monday. Furthermore, a larger fall has occurred towards the end of Culver Cliff.

Coastguard Officers have taken to Facebook to urge Isle of Wight beach goers to stay well away from the base of cliffs.
On Wednesday a 9-year-old girl was killed by a rockfall in North Yorkshire.
