28-year-old Reece Chilcott has pleaded not guilty to robbing a convenience store in Newport on Boxing Day 2019.
Chilcott appeared before the Isle of Wight Crown Court on Monday accused of possession of a knife and stealing £365 in cash from Central Convenience Store on Hunnyhill.
The incident occurred at around 18:00 on 26th December.
Reece, of no fixed abode, has been remanded in custody to appear before the Crown Court for the trial on 19th May 2020.
