A thief has used a pair of scissors to cut free and steal 2 charity boxes from an Isle of Wight post office – a real middle finger to the generosity of Islanders.
The individual walked into the Post Office on Avenue Road sometime on Saturday night. Then, using a pair of scissors taken off the store’s shelf, cut the cable ties securing 2 collection pots.
A team member from Sandown Post Office has said on Facebook today:
“This has left a charity without their cash and the public who have kindly donated unable to donate again as we won’t be putting anything customer side again. I’m furious that this has happened.
“The lowest of the low”.

Bloody scumbags!!!!!!
Money stolen that has probably been donated by people who want to benefit local charities let’s hope the Thief or his family never need help from said charities
