Islanders are being urged to take their cars along to Ryde Fire Station on Saturday (19th March) to be cleaned by the town’s firefighters in aid of The Fire Fighter’s Charity.
As part of National Car Wash Month the station is welcoming members of the public to make a donation in return for a sparkling clean car, which will get the personal hand wash attention of the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service crew.
Firefighters up and down the country are preparing to roll up their sleeves to take part in the charity push.
The event is taking place from 10:00-15:00.
