Police arrested a man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply following a foot chase in Sandown last night (Wednesday).
Officers from C-Shift chased the suspect for several hundred yards before making an arrest.
The incident has resulted in 3 large bags of cannabis, a vehicle and £1,000 in cash being seized.
A second male has also been arrested in connection with this offence.

Good work, but it seems like the sergeant on this shift is very self promoting. He’s all over Facebook too with back-patting posts. Made himself look very silly with the “what trainers are best to outrun the police” review yesterday. Sounds like a little kid who’s craving recognition.
Mojo Dave. He didn’t make himself look silly at all. It’s called scarcism… I thought his comment was funny. These low life drug pushers think they can sell this weed to whoever will buy it, including kids who need all their brain function just to get up, get dressed and go to school each day. Weed kills brain cells as does alcohol. Some can’t afford to lose any brain cells cos they haven’t got very many to start with!

I’ve got to say I totally agree with Mojo- I felt embarrassed to read Sergeant Winchester’s trainer review on Facebook the other day.
I am a strong supporter of our police service, but he seems to do a lot of that kind of thing and I think it belittles and makes a joke of the serious work done by police. It’s very much like a schoolboy who is trying to be cool and down with the kids. Cringeworthy.
