Due to an unexpected water main burst in Cowes, an emergency road closure has been put in place while the works are being carried out.
Baring Road is closed between Oakhill and Ward Avenue which is expected to be kept under a full road closure until approx. 16:00 on Friday afternoon.
There is a local diversion in place via Castle Hill, Queens Road and Egypt Hill.
Businesses remain open in the area.
