Blackwater Mill Residential Home is hosting a Teddy Bear’s Picnic in aid of Alzheimer’s Society on Friday 25th August.
There will be a tasty Cream Tea Picnic Buffet between 11:00 and 16:00 as well as lots of games and entertainment.
Activities will include inflatable archery, steady-hand buzzer games, hook-a-duck, ring toss and, of course, a Teddy Bear Hunt in the beautiful grounds.
There will also be a great range of drinks, live entertainment and the Island Business Raffle Collaboration with a huge range of gift vouchers, hampers and tasty goodies up for grabs!
A Gazebo will ensure that even wet weather can’t stop this event from raising money for this great charity and everyone is welcome.
The event is free and open to all but it is asked that you bring a picnic blanket and some cash for donations for the cream tea picnic and games and to buy yourself some of the raffle tickets for the chance to win some amazing prizes.
