Harbour Farm Nature Group are to attend Bembridge Community Groups Day on Saturday 31st May between 10:00 and 14:00 in the Village Hall.
People will be able to hear about the group’s accomplishments to date, current projects and future plans, with the opportunity to add your own ideas on access to nature locally.
The Harbour Farm Nature group have already helped reopen the railway footpath and plan to extend the path this summer.
The group’s expert environmentalists are now working with the authorities to establish a number of Key Viewing Points over the marshlands.
Following the community day, there is the opportunity to join a guided nature walk along the Bembridge Embankment railway path.
Participants will be able to look at the exceptional variety of flora and fauna in the area and the proposed Key Viewing Points suggested.
The walk is a family friendly event with an ‘I Spy’ sheet for children.
