The Ryde-based firm has been named ‘Isle of Wight Law Society Firm of the Year’ for 2016 at the society’s recent annual dinner.
Rounding off a successful year, the firm has hired widely-respected Island solicitor Emma Gifford, who is now running the firm’s Isle of Wight office.
Emma has worked extensively in commercial law and property in the Isle of Wight for a number of years specialising in business sales and acquisitions, shareholder and partnership agreements, developments, commercial and domestic conveyancing, property and land law.
“I am delighted to have joined the Churchers Bolitho Way team in Ryde. This is a really forward-looking law firm that delivers excellent legal services from offices in the heart of local communities, all backed with a heritage stretching back 150 years.
“It is a fantastic new challenge for me running the Isle of Wight office, and it enables me to renew old acquaintances from the many years of managing commercial law and property matters across the Island.
“Winning the Isle of Wight Law Society Firm of the Year award was testament to the exceptional work that we do as a firm and the way that we look after all of our clients. It is a great feather in the cap for the whole of Churchers Bolitho Way.”
