Jake – who learned his footballing skills at Portsmouth Academy – has previously played for Newport and Fareham Town in the Wessex League, Gosport Borough in the Southern League and Horndean in the Isthmian League. Jake’s brother Lewis is currently signed for Newport. Vics manager Alex Smith has said:
“I’m absolutely delighted to announce the signing of Jake Wright. “Jake is an outstanding attacking midfield player, whose technique and attacking quality will give us a significant boost in our push for the playoffs. “Please join me in giving him a very warm welcome to the Vics.”
