An art exhibition curated by local artists is to be held at Quarr Abbey between Thursday 1st – Tuesday 6th June.
Island artists Izi Evans, Birgit Ackroyd, Peter Allen and Becky Samuelson will be joined by Jim Few for this year’s Island Brush Strokes show. It will be Jim’s first exhibition on the Island although he has displayed his work at The People’s Gallery, Ryde recently.
With 4 of the artists having worked together on exhibitions over the past few years they really know each other’s work well and when looking to fill exhibition spaces they work together on a balance of subjects and mediums which make for interesting viewing.
As well as original art work to view and purchase there will be cards depicting the art on sale.
The exhibition is open 10:30-16:30 each day.
