With news of a new Royal baby making headlines across the world, Red Funnel is joining in the with the celebrations and has announced that it will be offering free foot passenger travel this weekend to all passengers named Archie.
Passengers named ‘Archie’ or any derivation thereof (first name or surname) can take up the opportunity of free travel courtesy of Red Funnel on its Red Jet service, as well as those who are foot passengers travelling on its vehicle ferries, on either Saturday 11th or Sunday 12th May, originating either way between Southampton and East/West Cowes.
To claim the offer, customers simply show up at the ticket office and present valid, current photo ID to prove their first or last name is Archie*.
Commenting on the free travel offer, CEO of Red Funnel, Fran Collins, said:
