Police are appealing for 2 people in a car, who may have witnessed an assault in Ryde, to come forward and speak to officers.
It was reported to Hampshire Constabulary that between 03:15 and 03:30 on Sunday 12th May, an altercation took place between a man and a woman in George Street, near the library and the Star Street junction.
During this incident the woman was pushed to the floor and suffered a fractured wrist as a result.
Police say they appreciate this incident took place 2 weeks ago, but it has just come to light that a vehicle containing 2 people stopped at the scene and may have observed some, if not all, of this incident.
