Police on the Isle of Wight are appealing for any witnesses to an assault in East Cowes on Thursday night to come forward.
Officers responded to Adelaide Grove on 11th July following reports of an assault.
It is said that a number of people saw the incident take place sometime between the hours of 19:00 and 20:00.
A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or has information relating to the ongoing investigation, to contact Hampshire Constabulary on 101, quoting 44190242046.
