2 East Cowes residents are appealing for information following the theft of two scooters overnight (Thursday).
Both these bikes are thought to have been stolen sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning.
Ellie Wescott is asking Islanders to keep their eyes peeled for a 102 cc Peugeot scooter in black and white last seen in the Orchard Road area of East Cowes.
Another resident was on the hunt for a second scooter, a 124 cc Peugeot scooter in black and orange, last seen in the same area.
UPDATE @ 23:00 – The black and orange scooter has now been located and returned to the rightful owner.
UPDATE SATURDAY @ 19:55 – The remaining scooter has now been found.
A family member of the scooter’s owner is asking for anyone with information of the theft of the scooter to come forward.
“We know one guy who was involved but not the other.
Anyone got any info let us know.

Hi bike was parked up in between the town hall and the toilets in East cowes this morning and man that works in the town hall took pictures of it. Don’t know if it’s still there
