The Isle of Wight Community Club in Cowes is holding its 7th annual Club Open & Family Fun Day on Bank Holiday Monday (31st August).
This year there will be displays including The Oyster Girls, The Great Glazbys Magic Show and Chartina singing live, as well as Irish Hardshoe Dancing and fun games such as blindfolded penalty shootout and tug of war.
As in past years the event will have huge inflatables and bouncy castles, plus the local Carnival Queens will be there. Visitors can expect a craft village with artisan sellers and local produce and many other stalls and games.
Charity is a big part of the event which will see Helen & Karen selling cream teas for Dementia UK & the Earl Mountbatten Hospice, before they set off for their London to Paris Cycle Challenge in September. Ability Dogs for Young People will have many of their dogs for people to meet and learn of the support they provide to island youngsters.
Entry is FREE with free parking and a free programme, which includes a lucky number to win a prize.
