Victorian ladies in their finery, singers dancers and a ‘garden on a plate’ competition will be part of the fun at the Vernon Square Summer Fayre in Ryde on Sunday (15th July).
Singer Paul Chatterton will entertain along with the Lively Ladies, Miss Ella Sheppard dancers and buskers Bern and Partner.
The traditional tombola and raffle will be available alongside delicious tea, cake and Prosecco. Not forgetting story telling, information about the history of Ryde and plant sales.
The event gets underway at 14:00 and will continue throughout the afternoon until 18:00. Vernon Square is situated off Melville Street.
Entry is £1 per adult, children free. Proceeds go to the upkeep of the garden.
