Bus workers from the Isle of Wight are invited to a special Open Day and Reunion in Ryde on Sunday 21st September, from 12:00 to 16:00.
The event at the Isle of Wight Bus and Coach Museum will bring together generations of industry staff to reconnect, share memories and celebrate the Island’s rich bus heritage.
Visitors can enjoy local trips on heritage vehicles, a display of photographs and artefacts, and special exhibitions from the late Dave Evans and Roland Richard’s collections. Light refreshments will be available.
Shirley Winn, on behalf of the museum, has said:
“This reunion is a way of recognising the huge contribution that Island bus workers have made over the years, while also offering a relaxed and friendly afternoon to reminisce and enjoy some classic vehicles in action.”
The event is free to attend and open to all former and current bus workers on the Isle of Wight.
