Luke was previously supervisor for the APC parcel delivery desk and began his new extended role in May. He has worked for Acclaim for over 5 years and has 15 years’ experience in the transport and logistics industry.
“I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to take on a much wider role within the business, and hope that I can use this new managerial position to pass on my knowledge to drivers and fellow office members.”
Prior to this appointment, Luke worked as a driver for Acclaim for a short time, before moving onto the APC parcel delivery desk, focusing on customer service and driver management. After a short time working within the team, Luke was promoted to supervisor, responsible for liaising with depots and drivers to resolve customer queries.
Managing director Mark Robinson said:
“We are delighted to have promoted Luke to the position of office manager. Despite only turning 30 this year, Luke has amassed a wealth of knowledge from his many years of experience in the industry and brings a fresh outlook to the role. What’s more, this internal promotion demonstrates the scope for career development that is available to all Acclaim employees and our commitment to investment in people”.
