The former Cowes Police Station is set to be transformed into 4 homes under plans submitted to the Isle of Wight Council.
It is proposed to split up the building on Birmingham Road into a number of 3-bedroom properties.
At the tail end of last year the Cowes Neighbourhood Policing team moved to the nearby Cowes Fire Station and now operate from an office.
The town’s police station has operated from the same building since 1900 but went on the market in 2013.
