Sam Cant found the net 4 times as Whitecroft & Barton Sports overcame Northwood St Johns at Cowes Community Club to advance to the next round of the Hampshire Trophy on Saturday 5th October.
Northwood scored 2 consolation goals late in the game from Lewis Blackmore and George Holmes to keep the margin of defeat to just 2 goals.
In the only other game in the Hampshire Trophy scheduled for Saturday, Cowes Sports Reserves were given an away walkover against Clanfield.

West Wight Reserves 4-4 Niton Community West Wight won 6-5 on penalties
West Wight Reserves overcame Niton on penalties in an 8-goal thriller at Camp Road. Dan Burgess opened the scoring for West Wight with Robbie Shepherd getting the 2nd goal for the home side. Jake Cass and Josh Edgerton made up the deficit for Niton to leave the scores level at half time. In the 2nd half, George Saunders and Connal Groom were in the goals for West Wight with Jordan Fowkes and Jared Cousins netting for Niton.
W&B Sports Reserves 1-2 Portchester Rovers
W&B Reserves were beaten by Portchester Rovers at Sandy Lane. Whitecroft & Barton took the lead through Luke Bennett with Chinemerem Nwokenkwo equalising for the away side. Josh Dean scored the late winner for Portchester.

A brace from Zak Harris and further goals from Gareth Bricknell and Josh Daley saw West Wight overcome Bembridge at Steyne Park. Aiden White scored a brace for Bembridge in reply.

Vectis gained their 1st victory of the 2024/25 campaign by beating Binstead at the Molehill courtesy of goals from Ben Cutts, Kieron Sibbick, Josef Shaw and Aaron Shepherd.

Newchurch notched up their 1st win of the season by beating Pan at Watery Lane. Keith Rust, Robert Ball, Aaron Doncaster and Ciaran Gibson knocked in the goals for Newchurch with Kayton Evans and Adam Drysdale putting the ball in the net for Pan.
