3 Legacy Elite Gymnasts – Ellora Jones, Skye Couse and Lucy Collins – recently competed in the South Region finals at Carterton Gymnastics Club, achieving some respectable results.
This is the 1st time ever that gymnasts from the Isle of Wight have reached the finals of the regional competition.
Shannon Betts from Legacy Elite Gymnastics Academy said:
“What an incredible way to end our Grades for 2023.
“These 3 superstars took to the floor to compete at the South Region Finals at Carterton Gymnastics Club. And some beautiful performances they produced.
“You girls made history just by being at this Finals Competition today and being the 1st ever Isle of Wight Gymnasts to do this and place on the podium is an absolutely incredible achievement and Legacy couldn’t be prouder of you.
“You girls really did shine and you should be so proud of yourselves.
“A huge thank you to our lovely judge Kelleigh for giving up your Sunday to help judge at yet another Competition. And to some of our other Legacy members in the girls’ team that came along to show their support.”
