Wight Eagles Under-16 Captain Dani Robinson has been given a 2nd shot on her route to make it as a professional footballer. Dani, her family, and club chairman Dan Verstraeten recently travelled to Sevenoaks in Kent to undertake her next step of Future Lionesses FA Talent Pathway trials. She was joined by 43 other players from all different academies across the South of England from Portsmouth, QPR, Wimbledon, and Charlton. Dani was put through various drills from England FA Coaches in a hardworking 2-hour session. She now has to wait to see if she has done enough to earn the next step on the road to being successful in the women’s game. Speaking about her trial, Dani has said:
“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to showcase my skills and want to thank my coach Dan Verstraeten for all his support and believing in me. “Hopefully, I shall get another chance from the FA.”
