21-year-old Alex Cooper has been charged with burglary following a shed break-in on Whitpit Lane in Newport on Sunday.
Cooper, of Millers Lane in Newport, appeared before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court this morning (Thursday) charged with the single offence.
He pleaded not guilty and the case has been adjourned for trial on 19th March 2020.
Officers have been investigating the incident this week after a local resident made a report to Police on Sunday afternoon.
