Storm Darragh has forced the postponement of all Isle of Wight Wessex League games this afternoon.
It is also unlikely that any Hampshire Cup games featuring cross-Solent travel will be played.
4 Isle of Wight teams – W&B, Brading Town, Bembridge and West Wight – play in the Hampshire Trophy, with both Brading and West Wight having been drawn at home.
Of the 15 Isle of Wight representatives in the Hampshire Trophy, 8 feature in 4 all-Island ties: Newport Reserves v Oakfield Reserves, Sandown & Lake v Brading Reserves, Vectis Reserves v Osborne Coburg A and West Wight A v High Park A.
5 Island sides have home ties against North Island opposition: Oakfield, Pan, Ryde Saints, Sandown & Lake and Niton Reserves.
2 Island teams travel to the mainland: Brading Town Reserves and West Wight Reserves.
However, there is a likelihood of numerous postponements depending on the severity of Storm Darragh.
There are fixtures on both sides of the Medina in the Wessex League.
Cowes Sports face Bournemouth Poppies at the Zilch Waste Stadium (Westwood Park).

The 2 sides faced each other twice in 7 days earlier in the season, with the Yachtsmen winning 0-5 in the FA Vase before losing 1-0 the following Saturday.
Co-manager Ian Potts say of the game:
“We’ve had mixed results against them this season in the FA Vase and league; they are doing well and are having a good season; we are looking to put in a decent performance and hopefully get a win after last week’s poor result.
“We have got players coming back, so competition is hotting up.”
Last Saturday, the Yachtsmen were trounced 8-0 by Wessex Premier newcomers Hamworthy Recreation.
When asked what went wrong in their last game, Ian said:
“Everything. It was a very weird game and day. Sometimes in football, you get games like that.
“We’ve discussed it over as a group, hopefully learn from it and draw a line under it, put it down as experience and move on.”
At Beatrice Avenue, East Cowes Victoria take on Totton & Eling in Wessex Division 1, subject to a pitch inspection at 10:30.

Indifferent form and recent postponements have seen Vics drop from top spot to 5th in recent weeks. However, the Victorians maintain the best defensive record in their division and have games in hand on all the sides above them in the table.
The Millers have been in poor form in recent games, going down to 5 successive defeats.
The last time Totton & Eling played Vics at Beatrice Avenue, they came with just 9 players and were beaten 6-0.
Also in Wessex Division 1, Newport travel to Amesbury in Wiltshire, again subject to an early pitch inspection.

Unfortunately, Port have been informed that the state of the pitch makes the game unlikely to be played.
Co-manager Joe butcher says of the game:
“It’s another tough game. They are around mid table but have had some good results and Amesbury has always historically been a hard place to go.
“The boys are itching to put Saturday right. Last week felt like 2 missed opportunities but equally we got 2 points against 2 good teams and remained unbeaten.”
