Isle of Wight Panther Club junior kickboxer Harvey Abbott has been selected to represent Great Britain in Turkey.
14-year-old Harvey began attending World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO) GB training camps and, as a result, has been selected to represent the team for his age group.
Harvey has already had a very successful year, with winning the British Championships and earning his Brown Belt.
Dominic Marsh from Isle of Wight Panthers Kickboxing Club has said:
“We are delighted and so proud to announce that our very own Junior fighter, Harvey Abbott, has been selected to represent Great Britain in Türkiye. This is in the WAKO European Championships in Full Contact.”

In grading over the last 2 weekends, Katie Moram, Harrison Abbott, Harvey Abbott and Harleigh Abbott from the Isle of Wight Panthers all gained belts.
Katie and Harrison were successful in gaining their purple belts, and Harvey was promoted to brown belt
Harleigh became one of the rare individuals to gain his 1st degree black belt in WAKO kickboxing.
