Around 1,000 Islanders are expected to attend a Jehovah’s Witnesses convention in Bournemouth later this week.
In total over 6,800 people are expected to attend to 3-day event at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) from across 5 southern counties, plus Jersey and Guernsey. The event takes place between Friday 4th – Sunday 6th August.
The convention is just one of 41 taking place in Britain throughout the summer and will feature 52 presentations, each exploring the theme ‘Don’t Give Up’. Additionally, the Witnesses have prepared 96 video segments specifically for the programme, plus 2 short films which will be shown on Saturday and Sunday.
Everyone is welcome; you won’t be charged admission and no collection will be taken.
