£100 OF STARWARS STOCK STOLEN FROM SHANKLIN’S KIDDIE KINGDOM

Investigations are underway after £100 worth of Starwars stock was stolen from a children’s toy shop in Shanklin yesterday (Tuesday).

Police were called to Kiddie Kingdom on the High Street shortly before 15:00 when staff noticed that 2 remote control Starwars toys and a set of Starwars books had been taken.

The theft has come as a big blow for the small family-run business, who have released CCTV footage of a man they are accusing of committing the offence (not being displayed by Island Echo).

Hampshire Constabulary are looking into the allegations.
