VIDEO: YOUNGSTERS FROM CHILTERN MUSIC ACADEMY RETURNING TO THE ISLE OF WIGHT


Following the success of their Junior Tour in 2017, Chiltern Music Academy will be heading to the Isle of Wight once again this month to perform no less than 5 concerts across the Island.

The award-winning academy’s Junior Orchestra, Junior Wind Band, Junior Jazz Band and the Intermediate Choir will be performing in Shanklin, Ventnor and Wroxall between Sunday 26th and Wednesday 29th May.

A group of 80 children and 11 accompanying adults will be staying at East Dene in Ventnor during their 4-day visit.

Chiltern Music Academy is an independent centre of vibrant community music making. It was formed in July 2014 by a group of parents and music professionals passionate about the development of musicianship. A carefully designed series of activities gives young musicians aged 4-19 every chance to fulfil their potential in an atmosphere of encouragement and fun.

There is free admission to all performances:

Monday 27th May
Ventnor Esplanade, Ventnor – 15:30
St Catherine’s Church, Ventnor – 19:00

Tuesday 28th May
Rylstone Gardens, Shanklin – 15:30
