Medina College scooped a podium place in the 2018 Rock Challenge at Portsmouth Guildhall last night (Wednesday).
Students performed ‘We Must Not Forget’ with great success, walking away with third place overall. The performance told the story of lives lost in war and the pain for those left behind.
Awards for Excellence were given to Medina for set design and function, costuming character, visual enhancement, entertainment, lighting and video performance. They were also awarded for student leadership and positive inclusion.
Sandown Bay Academy, a premier showcasing team, were given Awards for Excellence in stage use, concept, costuming character, visual enhancement, set design and function, entertainment, lighting, video performance and stage crew.
A total of 9 schools performed on the stage yesterday.
