The Isle of Wight’s first Slug & Lettuce bar is to open in Newport on Sunday 25th February, it has been confirmed.
The Slug & Lettuce brand began life in London in 1984 and has grown to include over 70 outlets across the country – predominately in South East.
Yates only closed its doors last weekend but contractors have been working around the clock to transform the High Street venue into a contemporary bar.
Islanders are being encouraged to ‘dress to impress’ and join the new team for the Grand Opening Weekender on 2nd, 3rd and 4th March, with 2-4-1 cocktails, tasty food and DJs that will get you up dancing.
The venue will be open until 02:00 both Friday and Saturday night.
