SHANKLIN COMPUTER THEFT BEING INVESTIGATED BY POLICE


Police on the Isle of Wight are investigating reports that a laptop was stolen from a computer shop in Shanklin in broad daylight yesterday (Friday).

The incident is said to have taken place at Pete’s Computer Services’ on Regent Street at around 14:30 yesterday afternoon.

According to Pete, the laptop is a HP ProBook 450 G2 with the serial number CND44615V2.

CCTV footage has captured 2 people in the store around the time of the theft. They may be able to assist in the investigation.

The woman is described as around 5′ 4″ tall, wearing a very long black coat with a yellow scarf around her neck. She is said to have shoulder length brown hair and spoke with an Eastern European accent.

The young boy is described as around 4′ 8″ tall, wearing a blue hoodie, blue jeans, black trainers and white soles. He had short black hair.
