Robin Hill’s award-winning electric woods event, Spirit of the Orient, has seen record breaking visitors to this year’s innovative Chinese New Year celebrations.
The event features impressive new lighting exhibits, a 12-metre long dragon procession, new interactive woodland light shows, traditional lion dances, Chinese street food, entertainment and crafts.
James Crofts, Park Manager at Robin Hill, has said:
“The team have worked so hard this year and as a result the event is looking better than ever – it’s also more technically advanced than ever before which is a huge achievement and something we can’t wait to build on later in the year for Festival of Light.
“We’ve seen lots of our lovely Frequent Visitor Pass holders visiting and they’re loving being back in the park to kick off the 2019 season.
“The weather for the weekend is looking good so we’re all looking forward to rounding off the event on a high this Saturday! If you haven’t visited yet, don’t miss out!”
In 2018, electric woods scooped the ‘Best Event at an Attraction’ in the UK award from dayoutwiththekids.co.uk. With just 2 more evenings left, there is still time to capture the spirit of one of the world’s most popular celebrations. Spirit of the Orient repeats every evening, 18:00-22:00 up until and including the 23rd February 2019.
