Police are investigating a bin fire that is thought to have been maliciously started in a communal area of a block of flats in Cowes overnight.
Firefighters from Newport and East Cowes were called to Admiral Gardens at around 07:15 this morning following reports of a large bin alight in an underground car park.
The first crews on scene soon discovered that the fire was out, but called in Police due to the suspicious nature of the incident.
Hampshire Constabulary are now investigating the fire and are asking anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting 44180060493.
