It’s been revealed that chart topping dance outfit Phats & Small will play a Sunday set at this year’s Jack Up The 80s festival in August.
The duo consisting of Jason “Phats” Hayward and Russell Small shot to fame in the 90s when their single Turn Around became an international hit.
The multi-million selling, award winning, Brit nominated duo also had hits with the likes of Feels Good and Tonite. Over the years, they have worked with some of the world’s biggest artists including Earth Wind & Fire, Arthur Baker, Jean Michelle Jarre, Simply Red and The Lighthouse Family.
Organisers of the Smallbrook-based event have said:
“We like to try and cater for everyone and here’s something for our younger audience members. Phats & Small have become a real festival favourite in recent years and guarantee a thumping party set.
“Jack Up The 80s is renowned for being one big Summer party and that’s the true essence of what people love about it. As long as the acts remain in keeping with the overall party vibe, for us the decade in which they achieved success pales into insignificance.”
Jack Up The 80s takes place over the weekend of 11th and 12th August.
Whilst Early Bird tickets have now sold out, Tier 1 tickets priced at just £50 for the weekend are available to purchase from www.jackupthe80s.co.uk.
