Firefighters have used cutting gear to free a 5-month-old Terrier with its head stuck in a gate at a property in Ryde this evening (Sunday).
1 appliance was mobilised to an address on Westfield Park at 17:40 following a call for help from the pet’s owner.
The gate was no match for the precision cutting tools carried on Ryde’s pump – within minutes the pup was freed and reunited with a thankful mum.
Green Watch have taken to Twitter to share photos of before, and after, the dog’s rescue.

Great they saved the dog, just wonder how many appliances and double pay staff attended, and WHO is paying. I guess some things are worth any price, but so long as it is not ‘milked’.
