Home buying on the Isle of Wight just got more affordable as leading homebuilder Barratt Homes joins forces with private landlord heylo.

The scheme, called Home Reach, provides a more affordable way for people to get on the housing ladder across the UK via part-buy and part-rent. The scheme has already helped more than 2,000 new buyers onto the property ladder since it launched in 2014.

The new partnership means that Barratt Homes will be offering part-buy part-rent homes through Home Reach, at St George’s Gate in Shide and at Hawthorn Meadows in Whippingham.

David Orchin, Managing Director of Acquisitions at heylo, said:

“We are delighted to be working with Barratt Homes in making home ownership more accessible through Home Reach.”

Home Reach is only available on new build properties.
