Spithead Lodge of Freemasons will be sponsoring a special Defibrillator and CPR awareness session on Saturday 26th November.
The free event will take place at the Masonic Hall, Fairy Road, Seaview between 09:00 and 11:00.
Bob Cooper, Secretary of the Lodge said:
“We have purchased a defibrillator and as our members have got to learn how to use it, we want to extend this opportunity to anyone, especially children, who want confidence in using a defibrillator when that crucial time comes.
“When needed there is very little time available, so being able to perform CPR whilst a defibrillator is brought to the scene and then having the confidence to use it, may well save a life. What a rewarding feeling that would be.”
