Police on the Isle of Wight are investigating a suspicious incident in Cowes in which a 16-year-old girl was touched on her bottom by an unknown man.
The incident took place on Mill Hill Road, Cowes on Monday (12th February) between 20:30 and 20:45.
Thankfully the teen wasn’t hurt and managed to run home. She was touched over her clothing.
The victim has described the man, who was walking towards Birmingham Road, as white, aged in his forties with short, dark hair and light stubble. He is said to be of average build with wrinkled skin. He was wearing a dark coloured coat and trousers and a red top.
Members of the Neighbourhood Policing Team have been regularly patrolling the area throughout the week and Police would like to speak to anyone who may have been the victim of a similar incident in the area.
