Leslies Suzuki at Hale Common has been recognised on a national scale by being awarded ‘Dealer of the Year’ by the car manufacturer.
The annual awards, which this year were held in Budapest, Hungary, recognise outstanding achievements and long service by dealerships within Suzuki GB’s 157 strong UK-wide network.
Prior to the awards, all dealerships were evaluated using the same criteria. They included the percentage of target sales achieved; finance penetration percentage; Sales Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI); Service CSI; number of parts sold and the quantity of accessories sold and returned on sales percentage. The figures were then added together on a balanced scorecard to reveal the top dealer in each of the categories and the overall winner.
Trophies were handed out by Suzuki GB’s Director of Automobile Dale Wyatt and Aftersales Director, Denis Houston.
Louis Vanassche, Managing Director of Leslies Motor Group, said:
“We won Suzuki’s ‘Best Small Dealer’ back in 2013. Since then we have grown our business, and we then went on to win an award for ‘Best Medium Dealer’ in 2017. This year we are thrilled to be crowned Suzuki’s overall dealer of the year! I couldn’t be more proud of the team over at Leslies Suzuki, formally Hale Common.
“The high standard of customer service over there is phenomenal, and customer service is something that we pride ourselves on across all our Leslies Motors dealerships.
“What a fantastic achievement for the team, and thank you to Suzuki for awarding us with yet another ‘Best Dealer’ title”.
Dale Wyatt, Director of Automobile at Suzuki GB PLC, said:
“We would like to congratulate our Dealers of the Year on their achievements, and for their hard work and dedication that they have shown during the past 12 months. Their service and commitment has been crucial to Suzuki’s success this year, and we are equally proud to have so many long-serving franchises within our network. This is a solid foundation on which to build as we go into 2019.”
