Isle of Wight Fuels, operators of the Island’s only fuel and oil terminal are to sponsor this year’s ‘Chilly Hilly’ event, a 10 mile cross country run organised by West Wight Sports and Community Centre.
Running around the West Wight, Chilly Hilly is a quirky race with mince pies and mulled wine for the runners at the finish line.
This year’s race will take place on 11th December 2016 and will start and finish at the West Wight Sports and Community Centre at Moa Place, Freshwater.
A spokesperson for Isle of Wight Fuels has said:
“We are proud to be sponsoring such a fun, local event, especially one organised by such a worthwhile charitable organisation that really is at the heart of the community, relying on grants and fundraising to remain open.
“We hope all the runners enjoy themselves and we look forward to finding out how much money will be raised on the day!”
